Present worldwide and managing a fleet of almost 250 vessels, BOURBON has achieved a strong, long-term position in specific areas, such as the West Coast of Africa and the North Sea, and it occupies a historical position in France with Les Abeilles International. Its conquest of new markets is based on sustained internal growth and a local partnership strategy.
The year 2006 was highlighted by the development of new sites and an extension of local partnerships, a reflection of the group’s policy of ongoing deployment in the strategic regions where its customers are located. The set-up of two new subsidiaries, Bourbon Gulf in Qatar and Bourbon Offshore Triangle in Egypt, along with BOURBON’s partnership with Naviera Tamaulipas in Mexico illustrate the group’s goal to provide a local response to the expectations and most stringent technical and safety requirements of its customers around the world.
The group’s headquarter is in Paris. In France, the various divisions have offices in Marseilles, Le Havre and Paris. BOURBON has historically operated on the French coast through its company Les Abeilles International. Bourbon Offshore is also present in the North Sea through its Norwegian subsidiary Bourbon Offshore Norway.
The group’s target area for development over the next few years. BOURBON is already involved in offshore oil services in Singapore, Hong-Kong and in Indonesia and will accompany the development of its clients in this zone.
BOURBON has acquired strong positions on the African coasts with its offshore oil marine services business and continues to grow largely viaits local partnerships in Angola and Nigeria.
To create an offshore oil marine services presence in this strategic area, BOURBON formed a partnership in Brazil with Delba Maritima. Bourbon Offshore also operates throughout Mexico through its subsidiary Naviera Bourbon Tamaulipas.
