Evaluation by referee employees

La formation BourbonIn order to ensure the high quality of its training program, BOURBON has developed a system using referee employees.

This is a group of employees, selected from among the best on the basis of a number of criteria, including professionalism, experience or the ability to transfer expertise. They are responsible for illustrating and ensuring that the BOURBON operating and safety standards are practiced daily on the vessels.

These employees are designed in a joint decision-making process by the Operational departments, HR and QHSE at BOURBON.

These elite employees include 12 captains, 6 Chief Engineers and 6 boatswains.

Each of these leaders will monitor several new employees for a given period in order to guarantee the success of their training. They guarantee that each trainee completely assimilates the BOURBON operational and safety standards.
